Why didn't you say Goodbye?

It happened so sudden
Nearly one year ago
You ran off with another
And brought me down low

No last embrace
No farewell kiss
Not even a letter
Only loneliness

Yes, you had to go
To live with your man
That's fine with me
Though I don't understand

You say you don't hate me
I find this a surprise
I rate it on my list
With the rest of your lies

You left me distrought
You made me cry
Why couldn't you
At least say "goodbye?"
